FREE OPEN WORKSHOPS

One of the highlights of the Kaleidoscope Music & Arts Festival is the opportunity to experience the creative process behind the performances.

On Saturday morning, our visiting young musicians from across South Africa will work in separate workshops with members of our outstanding team of professional tutors. Each ensemble will rehearse the music that will later be performed in the Kaleidoscope Massed Youth Orchestra Concert that evening.

During the afternoon, all of the participating groups will come together at the Showground, where they will be joined by the young musicians of the ARCO-PACT Strings Project for the first full rehearsal of the massed orchestra.
